FREE Unreleased Coastal e.p.
Once upon a time we toured and recorded a tour-only e.p. We called it the Corsica e.p. Back when we were trying to name the band one name we liked was Winter in Corsica. Anyway, we sold a few of these e.p.s and some of these songs were redone and released as the Winter e.p. as part of the Seasons Series on the Dreams by Degrees label out of San Francisco. We've been sitting on this thing since 2001. Consider this a gift and an atonement for not putting anything out for so long. Despite earlier posts indicating otherwise recording new material is slow going and it is unlikely we will have a new album out this year. HOWEVER, coastal is still very much alive and we are determined to finish the new album. We are basically half done. Thanks for your patience and continued support and words of encouragement.

Coastal Recording New Album Set for 2009 Release
Radio silence has been broken and the news is good. Allied troops are massing near Normandy and we intend to take the beach with...wait...wrong station. We have set to recording a new album tentatively slated for release by mid 2009. We might even post some tracks as things progress so check back often and stay tuned. Thanks for your patience and emails.
UPDATE: The new album is called Beneath the Snow and Streetlights. Here is a sample of a song called We Drink to Remember

Spanish Interview
For all you Spanish speakers coastal was recently interviewed
by bodyspace.net
After some technical difficulty we are back on the air, err,
on the web.
In other news we started the year with good intentions playing
First Night Salt Lake City's New Year's Eve celebration, however,
we have no shows scheduled at present so that we might (band
cliche alert) spend more time in the studio. It smells lovely
in there and you can have as much soda as you like. When we
take a break from the soda we'll start album 3. Stay tuned...

Utah show
